Maybe some of you were aware of this but I was not until I started trolling utube for Taos review videos to see if I could learn anything about my new car. If you unlock the car with the fob then hold down the unlock button within 10 seconds it will close all open windows and the sunroof! Or open them. Also this can be done by pressing and holding in the button on the door handle! Amazing!! If anyone has anything to share that’s not common knowledge I would appreciate it! Happy driving!!

its been a feature on VW for over a decade, sorry. I'm glad you found it! I don't think you have to unlock the doors first though, just hold down the unlock works.

I hear you can assign dash light colors to drive modes. I haven't tried because we like it purple. Theres quite a bit you can do through carista app too like changing the rear CHMSL to flash instead of just turning on.

it will be interesting to see what others say

Its not really a hidden feature but the models with the DSG have launch control.

So that explains why nothing happens when I mash the gas pedal down even after the 'recall software update'! Good to know! 😁

There is a setting in the console that lets you unlock all doors at once instead of just drivers door when pressing button on door handle.

Is there a setting that lets me remotely start the car without having its brake and running lights turning on after the engine started?

I tried that. It will open but not close the glass. Tried couple times and just opens them .
