hi there, This is Juan from Rosario, Santa Fe Province in Argentina!
I bought this awesome TAOS many months ago!
I wanted to give a personal design, so I plottered the roof and other parts as you can see in the picture

Also, I would like to ask where I post a question in regards of an odd issue I had with the panoramic roof window?

I would like to ask if this situation happened to any of you.



Last Sunday, the VW Taos was the majority of the day exposed to the sun (here is Summer and there was 32C (89.6 Fahrenheit). After that, I traveled back to home using the air conditioner with 24C/75.2 Fahrenheit and suddenly, I heard a big noise (did not recognize what was the noise about).... 5 seconds later the first roof window got broken and flew backwards (since I was in the route)



I am quite sure that I did not receive any kind of stone or stuff like that that can break the crystal, but I can not ensure that. The hypothesis is that the window got broke since It did not support the temperature difference

So, the question is..... if any of you have heard about this issue with the roof window?

I have not heard of any Taos sunroof glass cracking issues with temperature change. I’ve gone two summers of Taos ownership with no issues. A gradual drop from 32 to 24 certainly isn’t extreme. must be very frustrating for you and I imagine an expensive glass to replace. Good luck!

The plottered looks amazing !!! I wonder if it has something to do with the roof broken. Perhaps during the process something was forced or done wrong?

Nice to meet you!
I can say that I plottered the TAOS on April 22 and the roof window got broken on December 22. In the middle of those dates, I used the Taos as usual, in the city as well as in the route, with no issues.
So I would discard that idea that It is related to the plot.
