We picked up my wife’s Pure Grey SE 3 weeks ago and she loves it. The mileage is great compared to our 2013 Tiguan which this replaced. Added a dashcam yesterday and did the throttle response mod with Carista, totally changed the Taos.

make sure you use 91 gas
Curious - why would you use 91 octane? The Taos requires 87 AKI (R+M)/2 - regular gas. You can use 91 if you like but it won't gain you anything.

my car is in the shop right now, after using 87 for 3 fill ups, car has a epc light, and randomly stalls out while driving.

Ugh, that sucks. I doubt it is an issue with the gas (unless it was bad somehow) - could be one of a hundred things.
Hopefully once they pull the fault codes it turns out to be a simple fix.
they replaced the fuel pump hopefully it was the problem. The code was p008700

Hello to all. Picked up my Taos Highline with Advanced Driver Assistance Package in Pure Grey on July 15. The Canadian Highline appears to equate to a US SEL. It comes equipped with panoramic sunroof as standard, however has US SEL wheels. Canadian models do not show any badge beyond “Taos” and “4Motion”.
Does the SEL include the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Package (Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go, Dynamic Road Sign Display, Front Assist - Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Assist with Traffic Jam and Emergency Assist, Remote start)?

Are you still having problems after the fuel pump was changed?
Yes back in the shop with the same problem again they are now gonna replace the low pressure fuel pump but I want a buy back it’s too dangerous to drive
this happened to me as well. Fuel door says 89 minimum.

Interesting, our SE FWD has 87 minimum on the fuel door.

Does it state the minimum RON on the door too?
My door sticker and manual say 87 minimum.
The online manual for my VIN also says 87. Could it be VIN related?
I'd be interested if the online manual told you something other than 87. You can go here Volkswagen Online Owner's Manuals | Official VW Digital Resources and enter your VIN. (Pretty useful if you haven't used it before)
