New Taos owner from Canada, never owned a VW until now, coming from previous ownership of only 2 vehicles, both Honda Civic’s, first a ‘98 sedan, second a ‘22 sedan sport.

I grabbed the Taos Highline 4-Motion, and opted for the additional safety/tech functionality. Enjoying ownership so far, minus the turbo lag. Carista looks to be sold out on Amazon right now too, so looks like I might be waiting a bit to address that..

Welcome. I am in Langley with a Trendline 4motion and are pleased with it so far. It is comfortable, roomy and consistently gets over 14 km/l (that's over 40 mpg for us old guys) on the highway.

I used the Carista to change the throttle as suggested by others on this forum, and I find it makes very little difference. The car still suffers from hesitant acceleration. I have found it is best to drive it in 'Normal' mode for the best drivability around town.

Another thing...
If you are annoyed by the auto start/stop system, you can pick up the B2BFab jumper in Richmond at RPI Equiped. It is a breeze to install.
