I got my car back after 70 days, I looked up my car fax and they didn’t document they replaced the head gasket. Curious if anyone else here would share vin number so I can run car fax for cars that have had the head gasket replaced.

So you just got your Taos back. The dealer probably just closed the repair order or is closing it soon, and is waiting for VWOA to pay them.. but there's a cover up? Just how fast do you think this info filters down to Carfax? I'd say a few weeks at best. Why don't you run it at the end of May instead?
It’s instant. I work at a aftermarket repair shop, if I do a brake repair the next day it shows on CARFAX. Vw dealer didn’t even make a ticket when the car had to come back in for a leaking boost hose after repair. Vw corp said they should have made a work order so vw can keep track of the repairs to see if they need to do a recall.
Maybe it's because it was a VW warranty repair. You could confirm this by someone with a 2022 running a Carfax and seeing if the ecu / transmission updates show. These are also warranty repairs.
carfax does not show every single thing done to the vehicle in detail. Plus warrantee work can take longer to filer into the system especially if it’s not been actually paid.
Cover up. Doubtful
Car fax is next day. They don’t want to document they have a head gasket problem yet. I know the dealer had 4 more to do after mine. Vw has a history of cover up. Remind the diesel gate?
yep I know exactly about diesel gate I’ve got a golf that I never let them touch
sounds like your disillusioned with VW . I really don’t think they are covering It up.
My Golf showed no record on the carfax of a timing belt change. Yet it was done at VW …
