Haha! Despite spending 2 days cursing he did a great job (whole dash had to come out). His first (and presumably last) Corrado heater core!
And to make it even better, VW reimbursed me for the $500 or so it cost as they had a recall on some of them.
I am so glad the dealer reimbursed you the $500 it cost you. That’s great!

I just realized our Taos will have a name
Toad #4 (towed)

Toad #1 was a 2012 Kia Sorento

Tire Wheel Car Land vehicle Vehicle

Toad #2 was a 2016 Dodge Journey ( my current daily driver)

Tire Wheel Land vehicle Vehicle Car

Toad 3 better known as the truck 1986 Dodge D150 (my former daily driver waiting to find a rear end)

Car Tire Wheel Land vehicle Vehicle

So that makes the Taos Toad #4 and My better half's daily driver

Toad 4 Is white. My better half said she would never want a white car until we test drove this Taos and saw it in person. We had gone to the nearest dealer (60 miles away) to look at and test drive a black one. Needless to saw we left with it that day. The Taos S was exactly what we were looking for as a replacement for the Journey.

The white is definitely a nice looking vehicle. It looks sharp. They had one on the lot where I bought my car but it was the SEL and I just didn’t want to spend that kind of money that the dealer had added to it and I didn’t need the extra bells and whistles. Best of luck with your car.

I was at the dealer yesterday for a check engine light and it’s the N80 filter. Something to do with the fuel and emissions. It’s on back order. Luckily I can still drive my car while I wait for the part to come in.

We have ours since November and it has been great. We do have one issue with what appears to be a clear wrap for chip protection starting to peel on the drivers door but getting into the dealer which is 70 miles away is a bit of a pain. Should be interesting when the first service comes up.

I’m sorry to hear that the wrap is pealing on your car. I hope you can get to the dealer soon to have them take care of it. Good luck!

I’m waiting until I drive it for a bit. I’m still awaiting delivery in about 3 weeks. I have to determine it’s gender ( please, no offence to anyone ) or none before I give it a name. Right now it’s hard enough to refer to it in general l, like car/truck/suv. It’s so awkward that I need to give it a name.
