Gas cap cover size
Does anyone have any idea why the cover for the gas cap is so large it is twice as wide as my other cars? Not a big issue, but a curiousity to my, friends that I have shown the car to.

its probably a size that accomodates all the different fueling options and standards worldwide. inc. EV connectors in other SUVs. its is after all an MQB platform..... so parts are ~ interchangeable.
