Anyone else love the look of these front and rear bumper protectors / push bars and want to see them available for the Taos? I used to have them on my 02 Explorer but could not find any pics except for these similar ones online (front) Black Horse® - Black Front Runner Guard and (rear) SteelCraft® - Double Tube Rear Bumper Guard

A little too rugged looking for my Taos in my urban area. Perhaps if I was living in a rural area. I’d be interested to see how they look installed if they become available for Taos.

For me these don't really fit the persona of a Taos. Also, many of these products are for looks and non-functional. as-in, if you pushed on them, they'd bend into the car. most are not strongly built and are not frame connected, Taos has no frame anyway.

These also alter the safety design of the crumple zones in accidents of modern frameless cars. If these are designed strongly, they transfer any impacts to the unibody subframe instead of the crumple zones as intended.

Many years ago, I saw someone with huge bars at the front rear end someone. I think it was a Lexus SUV. Minor impact, but the huge bumper guard on the front pivoted back and took out the hood and both headlights. Probably didn't do the grill much good either. Without that I'm sure the damage would have been far less.
