I have no doubt that service and parts cost will be typical Volkswagen, i.e. a tad higher compared to Toyota or Honda.
First close look of the Volkswagen Taos 2021MY (Mexico)
The video I am sharing below was just posted by Motorpasion Mexico. Mexican auto journalists were invited to the Puebla factory in Mexico for a closer look at the new Taos. The video is in Spanish but the images, especially the interior, say a lot about what is to come for the US market. The tech and other features that will be included in the US trim lines will have some variations compared to the Mexico trim lines.
At 0:45, the interior dash and door panel finish of the lowest trim (i.e., Trendline in Mexico) has diamond shaped patterns. Nice touch. It is most likely this same door and dash inserts will be available for the base S trim line in the US.
