Any way to enable the door lock beep using the handle button? Mine beeps with key fob but not button.

Never listen to what the dealer tells you. They probably would have told me Auto Start Stop delete, DRL delete, and Seatbelt chime delete weren't possible either (all of which I have done). There are literally thousands of things you can change on these cars.

I believe this is due to the type of keyless entry the Taos has. It’s a downgraded version compared to what my older Jetta has, the indent on the surface for locking (one or two touch) and then unlocking by placing you’re hand inside the handle (could be programmed different ways)

I almost prefer the Taos door handle button since on my Tiguan the touch sensitive unlock would never work if it was in the sun. Either way I'm so used to pressing the unlock on the remote when I'm near the car that it doesn't really matter much to me.

Do you have VCDS or OBD11? If not, you will need one or the other. If you have it, just go to the applicable control module and change it through adaptations. If you need more detailed instructions, let me know.
