Would someone check for me?

I turn on Cruise Control on the left steering wheel buttons. Does not matter if I use it or not.

Shut off the car, leave, lock, etc. Next time I return the Cruise Control is still on. I would expect it to be off.

SEL if it matters.

Thanks.

Same behavior. However, I leave it on mostly because it allows for other driver assistance things to be enabled (like seeing the distance of the car ahead of you and whether the car can see the lane markers are recognized). It won't actually keep a speed unless you hit the "set" button or the "travel assist" button.

It remembers your last setting. this is because VW and Audi used to have a physical switch, so the push button “upgrade” emulates a physical switch so as not to frustrate long time VWAG customers.

upons starting the car you should get a message that adaptive cruise control is ready, letting you know it’s on.

I wish stop/start would remember your last setting.

Not so for me. I have ACC disabled and I stil have CC enabled upon restarting which removes the total mileage odometer. I get a message ACC is disabled.

Well try turning cruise off, turning car off and then starting again in a few minutes and see if “ACC disabled” shows up with CC off.

Be interesting to know if the status is only shown when CC is enabled at start or if the status is relayed no matter what.
