APR is making 87 Octane versions of their software for VWs with 87 Octane engines. So if they make the Taos tuning software, it will have an 87 option. It loses about 5% power vs the Premium fuel version, but I doubt it’s a deal breaker.Word is that there are developers working on them, I would guess the usual (APR, etc). There is one that is apparently a module that tricks the sensors but I would be wary of that.
I'd like to chip mine but I think I will wait for gas prices to calm down, too. Going to need 91 or higher for sure and regular is like $4.50 a gallon here.

Swap in a 2.0t. I already told my daughter if she grenades the engine, a 2.0t with a manual trans or 3.6 VR6 is going in.I sure would love about 200hp.
