Check Engine Light

The infamous check engine light came up on Sat. I tried the gas cap and with no success. So I brought it to the dealer today, and it is the "EVAP Vent Valve Stuck Open." The dealer replaced the valve, and it took around two hours. I hope this issue won't happen again. (y)(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)

Luckily it's not a big deal, at least it hasn't been in our case. Went on at 1k miles, cleared it, came back on 500 miles later (IIRC) dealer cleared it and ordered the valve, light didn't come back on for another 2k miles, I cleared it and since our nearest dealer is 200 miles away I didn't have it replaced as of now, light was off for 6k miles and came back on a couple times but went back off. Hasn't been back on for another 2k miles. There's never any difference in the drive, performance, or mpg when the light was on, it's just annoying for the most part :) I think I'll just wait until the part is available for the $20 range and just change it out, it's a 5 minute job, max!
