Check engine light won’t go away

background info:

10/27: got car. 2022 Taos SE front-wheel
11/19: check engine light appeared while out of town; drove to nearest VW dealer & stated it was issue with valve
11/27: took car to dealership in my area and dealer ordered part to arrive within 3 weeks.

The verbiage in capital letters are the notes in my VW service portal. While I believe the portal doesn’t state the valve was fixed, my paper receipt states it was.

Either way, my lame bf makes me feel like I’m overreacting because the damn yellow check engine light is still on.

Anyone else have a similar issue?
