Recently did the Carista App throttle modification to my 2022 SE FWD. There seems to be some questions on the basics so I made a quick video below. Do you know if the auto start/stop system can be disabled with the Carista. I'll buy one for that reason alone if it can.

No, it can't. But this does the job...

I have the Carista beta program, they just pushed an update for beta that includes an option for turning off the auto start stop

That's interesting. I'm not aware of any direct setting to disable it.
You can set the battery voltage threshold unreasonably high or a couple of other tricks, I think. I wonder if that is what it is doing.

Indeed, it appears it sets the minimum battery voltage unfeasibly high, and also the ambient temperature range in which it will work.
One nice thing about the B2B harness is that it just reverses the operation of the switch. It defaults to OFF, but if you press the button, it turns it back on.

Yeah start/stop was one of the first things I looked for in the App to disable, but did not find anything to do it unfortunately.

New version 6.5 of Carista today on my iPhone. Does not appear to be anything from the Beta for Taos. Is that correct? I will wait until there is so being a bit cauteous.

Where did you guys buy your carista from? Ecs tuning says it’s not for my car even tho I have a Taos awd 2022…. So what am I missing

I purchased from ECS and it works with no issues.

This is 100% false. I got my Carista from ECS Tuning. And it works like charm on my 2022 Taos.
