I have a 22 taos se and am using an iphone 14....US Cellular
My key fob works perfectly with car in garage
Using my phone either in house or outside, it indicates that command to all remotes times out with no results.
Once the car is moved outside of garage, everything is normal and can use cell anyplace to contact and everything is ok.
Works the same way at dealer, no contact when car is inside.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on.

seems like a signal issue for the car connecting to the internet (signals get weaker indoors)

The Taos has its own cellular service (internal to VW) used to communicate with the MyVW app. Depending on which cellular provider they use (ie Verizon) and where the closest cell towers are, as well as being indoors/outdoors, will determine signal strength and ability for the car to reach the internet via isn’t cellular radio. Also I don’t think the cellular radio module in the car is as good as our Phones, which surprised me actually.
Note this is independent from the car hotspot you can pay for.
