Can anyone program it by Carista?
I tried to code it, turned the function to enable, but it also failed to tilt when I put to reverse gear.

Were you ever able to get it working? I can't get mine to work after enabling it with Carista.

I have not. Got it to lower in reverse, but never comes back up unless I do it manually.

Can't get it to do anything. I have a 2017 Passat that works just fine using the same procedure as the Taos.

If I recall and could be wrong there are 3 Carista settings to enable. You might have to open the hood to see all three. It’s been awhile so I sure, but worth a try. Then have to enable in the VW menu and program the mirror position.
Some say works when the switch is in the R position. Some say the O position.

So I just bought a 2023 Taos SE . So I’m confused I don’t see any option on the infotainment screen or aware my car can do this with the mirrors . So is a hidden feature or something?

We have an SE also and the dealer told me the option isn't available...only on the SEL...makes no sense to me.

It's shown in the manual, settings menu, and Carista....what other conclusion would we come to? I have a 2017 Passat with the feature, it should be a given with a 2022.

Reverse mirror tilt is not available on the Taos 22 SEL. One can only push the mirrors manually. Welcome to pandemic cost cutting. The buttons to turn on overhead lights don’t even light up. And I paid for SEL 😆

Lol I noticed that I couldn’t see it at night when I bought the car last week . Hey ,what button does what anyway up there ? Haven’t had bunch of time to go over everything in the car .
