Has anyone removed their fake chrome exhaust "tips"? I'm hoping some sort of aftermarket part comes out... but there doesn't seem to be anything out there yet?

Thanks! The section under the taillights was something custom we had our vinyl guy do. He did it with knifeless tape following the body line so it's not something precut.

We are currently testing a catback system and also a muffler delete for the 4 motion.

The chrome free exhaust cutout bits are the standard on the S trim. I wouldn’t be surprised if you might find someone as the forum grows to swap with you.

I noticed this on our new Taos that it was a separate part and not part of the bumper itself. Below are the vw part numbers and a link where you can order and deliver to your local dealer for free pickup.

How to remove the exhaust tipp to paint it ?

I’m pretty sure you can just buy the part from VW for the S model as that doesn’t have the chrome, it’s matte black and matches the bumper

The exhaust pipe is under the bumper.
