Has anyone found a good aftermarket cargo cover? The wife doesn’t like the solid cover VW sells, she is looking for a retractable option. Any ideas?

I wish, it would be fairly easy to make one work but someone would have a lot of trial and error measuring widths of covers. I'd much rather have a soft cover than the hard one. I'm making my own hard cover because I'm too cheap to buy one after having to finance a bunch of BS like cargo blocks and first aid kits and not getting a cargo cover on my expensive (for me, S trim) car. $30000 for a car and no cargo cover is crap, It didnt' occur to me that I wasn't getting one until I drove home.

I hear ya. I wasn’t impressed that I had to negotiate floor mats and a trunk mat also. I got those and a bumper protector but they wouldn’t do the cargo cover.

You had to buy the bumperdillo too? That added like $300 to the price of a Tiguan at another dealer. That dealer said they couldn't take them (almost $900 in extras) because they were "included" uh individually priced options on their own line items are not "included" they are added.

I ended up with the rubber floor mats, cargo liner and the bumper protector after negotiation. But they didn’t want to go near the cargo cover unless I paid for it. So looks like I will when they finally deliver it to me next week (fingers crossed 🤞🏽)
