Hey all-
I have an alert on my dash that says “ACC and Lane Assist Deactivated.” I have tried cleaning my sensors, yet I still have the alert Any solutions out there?

I think the lane assist uses the camera in the windshield above the rear view mirror. Is that area of the windshield clear? It is swept by the wipers so it should be.
What happens if you turn on ACC while driving?

Both those safety features are controlled by a radar sensor that is behind the VW medallion on the front grill. I know this because all my features were non-functional the day after I bought my FWD SEL and a replacement had to be pulled off the assembly line to repair mine. You can also shut it off through the touch screen so check to make sure that hasn't accidentally shut off.

Mine is the same. I have set it deactivated and activate ONLY the ACC ( I hate the lane assist) by selecting the CC button on the left of the wheel and THEN the ACC button below it. I wish it turned off when the car was shut off, but it does not. So to turn off (and see my odometer again) I click the CC button only and both shut off.

This may be a stupid question but does this affect all models or only the top line option versions?

I have an SEL and no experiences with the other trim levels, so cannot say. Perhaps others can.
