Anyone know of a car camping air mattress that fits the VW Taos? I reached out to Luno and they don't seem to have a mattress that fits the car, though I figured the mattress would be around the same size as an Audi A3 mattress. As the weathers going to start getting warmer soon I want to start taking the Taos car camping! Also if anyone has already done so and has some pictures, feel free to share them!

I would imagine that a 20" wide mattress would fit in the back if you only wanted to put down one of the seats in the back. I have a friend who bought a TrunkMate and looked at the compatible versions they have for the 2022 Taos (https://trunk-mate.com/shop-products/). Otherwise would seem you could get a 36" wide mattress to fit if you put both seats down.

I was following a Bronco Sport camping person on YouTube and he used a twin-size memory foam mattress in the back of his vehicle. He just rolled it up and strapped it closed when not in use. He also turned the headrests around on the back seats and extended them which allowed for better mattress support. I was going back and forth trying to decide between the models specifically for car camping. The Taos actually had more head-to-toe room once you advanced the front seat positions. The only downside on the Taos is the height difference between the cargo area and the back seats when folded down. For a level mattress fit, that may require construction materials you could assemble. Or go with something like Trunk-Mate as Casey described. Following.
