I just purchased 2023 Taos SE FWD for my wife and just noticed that vehicle is not equipped with 12V power outlet in the cargo area.
I've seen few reviews on YouTube indicating that there's 12V outlet in the cargo area.
Is 12V power outlet in the cargo area available only on SEL?

Looks like you are correct... use the model/trim comparison tool on vw.com for 23 models... 12v power port in cargo area is not available on SE... standard on SEL.

My 22 SE has a power port in cargo area.

I have the 2022 Taos SE. It has a 12V port in the trunk area. I use it for a portable 12V freezer. It works great. But, when the car is off, the freezer is off.

Just found out from other member that 12V power outlet in the cargo area is only available on SEL trim for 2023.
It will be very convenient to have 12V power outlet in the cargo area……..

I've not looked in there yet, but that's what I was thinking.
If so it will be an easy mod.
